About Lauren

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#148081), for details on my education and credentials, click here.

I am a compassionate clinician who believes in bringing genuine authenticity, warmth, humor, and empathy to my sessions. I utilize psychodynamic, person-centered, feminist theory, narrative therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapies to create a personalized approach when working with you.

Clients are the experts on themselves, and it is my goal to understand you as the whole person you are. In my sessions, I promote looking at your past to better understand your current self. I will never force you to change, but I will be there with you through every step you want to take.

Together, we will cultivate skills to manage and move through the complex experiences associated with anxiety, depression, life changes, grief, anger, or other intense emotions.

I am LGBTQIA affirmative, intuitive eating aligned, and go by the pronouns She/Her.

Although the stigma surrounding mental health needs and therapy has evolved over the last decade, it can still pose as a large barrier for many individuals. Whether fear, confusion, or even just curiosity brought you to my page - I'm glad you took one step toward helping yourself.

I will always meet you where you're at and provide a safe nonjudgmental space for your growth and healing. If you think we might be a good fit, please reach out for a brief phone consultation or email me on my contact page.
